The most affordable parking is the park & Ride service which offers you free shuttle service across the Terminals. The bus service runs every 15 minutes from easy to find and convenient pick-up and drop-off points at the domestic and international terminal buildings. The Park & Ride bus is easy to spot in orange and black, and there is plenty of space for all your luggage.

There is no cellular parking. A designated public area is located in the middle forecourt lane for immediate pick up and drop off only, just look for the signs as you enter the international forecourt. If you need to wait or prefer to spend time with friends or family, you’ll need to park in one of the regular car parks right across from the terminal.

Approximate fares from the airport into the city are between NZ$75 – NZ$90 one-way for a taxi and shuttles($33 for one person plus $8 for each extra person together in the same group). The licensed companies are Auckland Co-op Taxis, Corporate Cabs logo and Super shuttle.

If you are on a long layover, Novotel Auckland Airport Hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the International Terminal. There are no dedicated sleeping facilities at the airport. Limited eating facilities are open in the arrivals area during the night but public toilet but shower facilities are available in the terminal area. There are a number of hotels nearby with free shuttle service.
