Top Tips
1 Parking is quite affordable at this airport. The airport parking facility has ample space for all passenger needs with 24-hour security. Short-term parking costs BDS$1 per 30-minute period. For the benefit of those who require longer-term parking, the maximum daily rate is capped at only BDS$12

3 There are buses which travel on the hour between the airport and Bridgetown City Centre (and other select destinations) for BDS$1.50. Consult the tourism information desk.

5 If you have an item that you are not able to carry-on, unfortunately it will be confiscated as they do not allow you to go back and check it on.
6 Going through immigrations, the lines are usually long but they move quite swiftly.
7 The Departure Tax at BGI is BDS $55 (US $ 27.50) which applies to all passengers over 2 years old leaving the country. Most airlines include this with the cost of the ticket, but please double check.
8 There is free public WIFI available at the airport.
9 The airport porters charge per bag to transport your luggage from customs to the street outside of the customs terminal. It is usually US$1 per bag.
10 There is a duty free shop in the arrivals area that is open for most international flights. The departure duty-free shops offer jewelery, perfumes, china, crystal, cameras, shoes and clothing.
