Top Tips
1 Dubai International prides itself on being a smoke free therefore a ventilated smoke room is only available at Concourse C.
2 Emirates airlines is on Terminal 3
3 Terminal 2 is Flydubai, Iraqi, and all of the Iranian airlines except for Iran Air and Mahan. One or two of the former Soviet carriers also use Terminal 2. Emirates uses terminal 3. Everyone else uses Terminal 1.
4 Do not take any psychotropic medicines through customs with previous approval from the Ministry of Health it will be seized and you will be punished under the law.
5 The signs inside the baggage claim area are quite big and clear but even then, you can seek assistance from a ground staff member to find your luggage.
6 If you are in transit, transfer desks are located at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Dubai International. You must collect your boarding passes from the respective transfer desks before continuing your trip.
7 There is free WiFi available everywhere in the airport.
8 All three terminals provide a wide array of local, continental and fast food eateries. Duty Free shops are also strewn across the airport..
