Top Tips
1 Before proceeding to the Immigration Hall, you should have the following documents ready A valid passport; and a completed arrival card, which is distributed by your airline before landing, or else, please pick up the card in the Immigration Hall; or Hong Kong Identity Card for Hong Kong citizens.
2 Baggage reclaim After immigration check, please proceed to the Baggage Reclaim Hall to pick up your bags. Please contact your airline for lost or damaged baggage.
3 Customs and Excise You may proceed to Customs and Excise control after reclaiming your bags. Use the red channel if you have items to declare, if not, use the green channel.
4 Meet and greet Big plasma TV panels installed in both Arrivals Hall A and B in Terminal 1 allow meeters and greeters to see their arriving friends and relatives right as they enter the Buffer Halls.
5 Baggage storage A secure short-term baggage storage facility is located on Level 3 of Terminal 2. It is open from 05:30 in the morning to 01:30 at night, Monday to Sunday.
6 Storage rates Type of rate HK$/ Piece Hourly $12 Daily $140
7 Payment for the bag storage is to be made on collection. Only cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
8 Storage fee is counted on storage hour; baggage dimension and weight. Storage for part of an hour is charged as an hour.
9 In any 24-hour period, storage is charged at the hourly rate or the daily rate, whichever is less.
10 Additional charges will apply to outsized baggage (total dimensions exceeding 199cm. length + width + height) or overweight baggage (exceeding 30kg) by the number of times of normal rate when the dimension / weight exceeds the standard or part thereof.
