1 In all terminals it is crazy hectic 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. then 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Keep abreast on the IAH website. 3 Valet is available at all terminals for 2-24 hours: $25. Terminal parking is $17/day. Economy parking is very affordable at $6.47/day for covered or $4.62 /day for uncovered, in addition to tax. A Shuttle takes you to the terminals.
4 More than 200 spaces are available at the cellphone lot located at Will Clayton Road and offer amenities such as portable bathrooms and vending machines. Another lot is on John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
5 The Metro bus is a cheap way to get out of the airport at $1.25, but it takes some 70 minutes to downtown. A taxi to downtown Houston's costs about $45. for a 20 minute trip.
6 Get your WiFi free for the first 45 minutes through Boingo and use one of the complimentary Samsung power stations and paid charging stations across the terminals.
7 Find pet relief areas outside Terminals A,B, C and D.
8 If you are hungry, there are several great food options at Terminal B.
9 NASA's Space Trader at Terminal C is one of several great options across the terminals for souvenirs.
10 Make use of your layover time by getting some rest at The Houston Airport Marriott, accessible via airport tram and grab a bite at CK's Revolving Restaurant there as well.
