1 If you are on a layover, jump on the Light rail to Mall of America which is just minutes away from the airport.
2 If you are a business traveler, you will love to know that the airport has a full-service conference center and self-service business centers.
3 If you over packed or have items in your car that you's rather safeguard, the airport has several storage lockers available.
4 If you are traveling with Alaska, American, Delta, United or US Airways you can do a TSA PreCheck at Lindbergh Terminal, Checkpoint 4.
5 Things get really crazy between 5:30 a.m. -7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m on weekdays.
6 Get around the busy checkpoints by heading to Terminal 1-Lindbergh, where there's a checkpoint above the Transit Center for those with carry-on bags only.
7 Parking is very affordable at Terminal 2-Humphrey where Value Parking costs $14 per day via ePark, and $16 using cashier.
8 The valet garage is $40 per day. A Cellphone lot is open 24 hours between terminals on Post Road, off Highway 5 and 34th Avenue. No toilets or other amenities.
9 To get out, jump on the Light rail to downtown Minneapolis, for only $1.75 or $2.25. It's a 25 minute ride.
10 It's less than 15 minutes to Downtown Minneapolis but costs $38- $49. Travel time: About 25 minutes. Downtown St. Paul costs $30 $37. for 20 minutes drive.
