Top Tips
1 The most affordable way out of the airport is via SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) Rail Line to Amtrak's 30th St. Station at a cost of $8 for a 25 minute ride. SEPTA Bus Routes 37 and 108 cost $3.25 including transfer.
2 Terminals B, C and D/E get really busy at three points during the day; 6 am -8 am, 12-2 pm, and 6-8 pm. On Mondays, it's usually busy only in the early morning.
3 During the afternoons, expect the checkpoint at Terminal A East to be quite busy.
4 To avoid the chaos, when you need to access other terminals from F after going through the Checkpoint, use the post-security shuttle available to and from Terminal F at Gates F-10, C-16, and A-1.
5 Check your airline and TSA status to see if you can get access to a quick TSA PreCheck.
6 The most affordable parking is the Economy Lot at $11 per day.
7 Short-term parking is available at the ground level adjacent to baggage claim for $40/day while the Garage parking costs $20/day.
8 The cellphone lot has 150 spaces and is strategically located close to the baggage claims area of the airport.
9 To get out of the airport, taxi fare is $28.50 flat rate to Central Philadelphia area in about 15 minutes. Shared van costs $10 -$15.
10 There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the airport and two free charging stations in terminal E. Power outlets are located at the telephone work stations.
