Top Tips
1 Traveling from the United States and European countries will afford you easy passage through the airport but if you are from Africa or South america, you have to show proof that you are certified against yellow fever. If not you will have to get a vaccine at a cost.
2 If you do not have a boarding pass for your connecting flight, the check in lounges vary so check with the information desk or with your airline before disembarking your flight.
3 There are airline lounges at all three terminals for your comfort.
4 If your layover is three hours or less, you can, take a lovely stroll in the world's first Butterfly Garden in an airport at Terminal 3, or get a FREE foot massage at the Foot and Calf Massage Stations across all terminals, or Pick up beautiful gifts from a wide selection of stores then have a light and healthy meal at Quick Bites. all of the above can take you less than three hours.
5 Free Singapore Tours are available if you are on layover. Take your family on an educational tour of Singapore while in transit. Choose between a Colonial or Culture tour.
6 This is one of the most family-oriented airports in the world, with an Entertainment deck for teens, playground for kids, family zone, interactive art and so much more. You cannot run out of options to keep you occupied while you wait for your flight.
7 If you need to sleep, book a room at the Ambassador Transit Hotel which has a television and en suite bathroom. They offer a wake-up call service to ensure you catch your flight.
8 Get a shuttle at the 24-hour Ground Transport Desk for S$9 to your downtown hotel when you arrive at SIN. There are also fixed fares of S$4 on seven and nine-seater rides to anywhere on the island.
9 Public bus service 36 takes you to the city and buses from the city take you to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
10 There are no designated long term or short term parking areas. Park at any of the five lots for $0.04 per minute or a maximum of $20 per day for both vans and cars. Bikes and motorcycles pay $1.30 per day.
